Business Plan
Wicked Things
Synopsis- Jill enters the land of imagination to liniate the story of Jack and the Beanstalk by restoring confidence into Jack.
Treatment- Fandle, a poppet, sees a gypsy to try to see if he can solve the hunger problem caused by the greedy giant from the land in the clouds, but the gypsy sees more than what Fandle can pay for. She decides to take matters into her own hands, and sends a magical book to jillian from Earth. The book allows her to enter the story and meet Jack. She finds out he regretfully traded the family cow for five magic beans, but these beans did not seem like anything special, that is until the morning after his mom threw them out the window. A great beautiful vine grew, and grew, and grew.
Once JJack and Jill make it to the land of the clouds, they find themselves in a magical forest, where the trees come to life. This is where the comic relief is introduced, a character called a thig, which is actually two characters who stack on each other and try to scare people, but the truth is they never do. After crossing a heated lake, towards the castle, Jack and Jill meet Fandle and his family. Fandle guides them through town meeting some of his odd friends on the way to the castle. When they get there have to pass the glimicks who guard the palace, and with their stupidity this becomes quite a simple task. First, the goose that lay the golden eggs is Jack and Jill’s goal to retrieve. The giant becomes puzzled as to where the goose went, but by the time he realizes it Jack and Jill are down the beanstalk and have given the goose to Jack’s mom. They quickly return, and Jack is gaining confidence in himself.they cross the lake and gio through town when reaching the castle. This time, they run into a snook, who is guarding the entrance. The bare elomtar fetches the magical singing harp for the giant. It puts him to sleep and they take it after locking the bare elomtar in the room. With haste, Jack runs by a rose bush and pricks his leg. Fandle’s friends prepare to stall an angry giant. The two are crossing the lake when the giant wakens to the smell of an English man's blood. He tries to reach Jack, but he has to many obstacles to overcome.. When finally reaching the beanstalk, Jack is already picking up an ax and begins chopping down the beanstalk where the giant falls to his death.
Upon completing the story that we all know and love, with the gypsy’s magic, Jilliar returns to Earth, and is more focused on her grade. When returning to fairytale land we learn that Mary, who lost her lamb, and Little Bo Peep are related, and all three men in a tub all know Jack and his mom, but this time, knows he must sell the golden eggs to the market. Something is tempting though, around the corner he is met by the same old man, who hands him five new magic beans.
BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
Operation will follow the blueprint of a democracy, where the CEO has a cabinet to turn to for advice. His/her final action does not pass unless there is a 2/3s majority decision from employees, however, they reserve the right to veto any poor decision.
Comic Invasion Studios will be competitive in the movie business, just like any studio. Making films that show an entertaining story is often looked over talent from persons with disabilities. The first year will be the most challenging, this is why we will spend the full year pre-producing, producing, post-producing, marketing. Distributing, and follow up marketing to remind viewers to go. Two films will be the goal of the next year, and to do this, we will break in two teams. This will continue for nine years, or when we are producing ten films a year. I believe, for the first year the annual budget should be $150,000
MARKETING PLAN
The ideal location for operation would be san diego, where there is some competition. Blue Light Productions and Goappr Studios conveniently located in downtown, san diego create some buzz, but not enough. Ruffin Road is evolving to a groundbreaking tool of entertainment. Options For All media and film classes, spearheaded by Joey Travolta’s Inclusion Films, has been on several san diego news stations. Comic Invasion Studios will use this talent and more like-minded individuals, creating a new voice in entertainment.
CI Studios plans to contract with movie theater internationally, it is important to mainstream disability talent of a broad spectrum. Running a streaming service is definitely planned in the future. Depending on if CI Studios will be located at 3939 Ruffin Road, two planned theater rooms are part of it’s master plan.
MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS PLAN
The $150,000 will be divided into two parts, the biggest part goes to advertisement on theater screens. The chain, AMC theaters, has an advertisement office at1-800-SCREEN -1. I have created my own comic universe and the biggest sum will go to animated motion commercials. FINANCIAL PLAN AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
In order to pay back a $150,000 loan for the first year, I plan to market my two and a half hour movie, plus screen it for a private party. Following this, I will offer it as a digital download. This is a result of my co-managerial skills learned overtime when deciding to move out to be closer to San Diego State University to minimize travel time. With this, it cost me many of my close friendships, but I built new ones. This gave me my skills, my apartment has been a revolving
door to many caregivers, and I have learned there is a fine line between friendship and workers. As manager for this business, one of my caregivers has been with me for years, and we share the appreciation of music she is in a band and always wishes she decided for her band tol bring ne n onboard as manager.. I expect no salary for the first year, then for each additional year 5 percent of the profits will be in reserve to the manager.
MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS PLAN
Traditional movie studio positions are paid by the job, and therefore follow limited guidelines as to having a cap, or a specific cutoff dollar value, so CI Studios, being tailored to the disabled, will allow employees to focus on their abilities by paying a wage of 2o doll, ars an hour, does not want to overwork it/s employees by having three 8 hour shifts , or six 4 hour shifts daily, making films 24 hours a day, matching the environment in san diego. Employees will make 640 dollars or 320 dollars securing social security benefits.
